[Everlasting Love: The Remix] EVERLASTING LOVE: THE REMIX

The famous producer Mike Hurst and Lynton Guest have remixed "Everlasting Love". It will be released in England on 30 January 2004. Says Lynton: "We have tried to keep it recognisably the original yet also recognisably new. I have put a new synth bass on it and we have made a number of subtle changes." Signed pre-release promo copies of "Everlasting Love: The Remix" are now available for a limited time.

[14 December 2003] Added a Morgan tour date listing, courtesy Christophe Simplex. The list makes for a really fascinating read, and it is heavily illustrated with concert adverts (and a couple reviews). I have also added two 1973 reviews of Morgan's "Nova Solis" album.

Added more information about Muscles, the band formed by Rex Brayley in 1971 (who actually supported Morgan in April 1972!).

[30 March 2003] LOVE AFFAIR - "The Complete Collection" - new CD! Rock-In-Beat Records in Germany have just released "The Complete Love Affair Collection" - three volumes spanning almost the entire career of the band (recordings from 1966 to 2001 are included). This is basically an expanded re-issue of their "Greatest Hits" 2CD collection from 2000. I suspect Rock-In-Beat may not have the rights to release this material, I guess this is why they only sell them as 'promo' copies only. More info!

[25 March 2003] LOVE AFFAIR - new cassette only albums discovered! Martin Lyon's Love Affair re-recorded the classic Love Affair hits for two cassette only albums in the 80s - "Greatest Hits" and "The New Recordings". "Greatest Hits" is actually the very same recording that surfaced on CD in the 90s (aka 'the fake album'). More info!

[Last tango In Bradford] [25 February 2003] STEVE ELLIS - "A Kind Of Innocence" - new CD out soon? Steve Ellis has just updated his website with some fascinating news. The new album is nearing completion and has a working title of "A Kind of Innocence". Highlights may well include an acoustic version of "Everlasting Love", which may be released as a single, and a re-recording of "El Doomo". Steve also hopes to tour the UK next year, as part of a package tour entitled "Manfred Mann and Guest Singers". Last but not least - Steve has now finished his autobiography!
