WINDS IN THE ADRIATIC SEA

BORA:
Dry and cool gusty wind from the northeast during the winter, but also occasionally during the summer. This wind is usually followed by good weather.

JUGO:
Warm and humid wind from the south during the autum and winter. Usually preceeded by bad weather. The wind sometimes brings red dust all the way from Africa.

MAESTRAL:
Light breeze from the northwest during the spring and summer. Starts around 09.00 in the morning and fades out in the afternoon. Followed by good weather.
