Trogir lies 20 km south of Rogoznica. The old town, characterized by medieval fortifications, narrow streets and wide waterside boulevards, is set on a narrow island that is linked to the mainland by bridges on both sides.
Many churces and houses dates back to the 13th century.
In 1997 the entire town of Trogir was placed on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
