"The Jeep is a 1975 CJ5. I bought this vehicle back in 1979.. still
have it.
It
originally came with:
- The optional V8 304 Engine 3 Speed Manual
Transmission.
- Four Wheel Drum
Brakes
- Steel Body.
After I got hit and rolled it over I
decided to rebuild it.
- New Engine, Chevy Crate Motor rated at
345HP
- Automatic TH350 Transmission
- Replaced the Front Brakes to Discs. (The
same exact Chevy Disc setup that is on my Black truck.)
- Fiberglass Body; Had to modify the Firewall
to accept the Heater. See the incompleted fiberglass bubble in the pic.
- Fiberglass Front Nose. One piece that I hinged to open ‘backwards’
My Kids in the first two pictures: Weeks after I finished it and then again two
years ago. Same Location."
